Why nobody cares about your ART part 1

When I say care I mean not only care but why someone doesn’t  listen/see it. I’m an artist myself and through the years of my journey as one I’ve had obstacles both external and internal that I both was and wasn’t aware of that continued to hold me back from what I thought I deserved.

You there probably are in my shoes and together we can hit some of these walls if not all.

I’ve been a song artist for around 3 years now and after over 100 songs , collaborations , some views ,no views , bad mixes ,bad recordings ,and a whole lot of inconsistency I decided to find out why i’m not getting more views , better songs ,barely any collaborations and  feeling like I’m not where I should be these where the answers and solutions to my and your problems .

  1. You Don’t Care Enough

Though yes you have care since you have passion but how much do you care about why , how, and when you’re doing it? Drawing /painting those images , making that music ,creating those designs ,etc.

Why do we do these things? Is it a hobby, aspiring career/business ,inconsistent interest, why do you do it and what do you want it to be?How are you doing it and do you care about the process and the progression?

You get better by repetition, yes but when you practice something with attention, focus ,and intent you’ll improve faster and better than if you simply did it. You can record a song for a whole year and barely get better at it but when you record and as you do it every time you’re applying tips and information learned you’ll learn it faster and be in a better place sooner. When are you doing it?

When something takes time to achieve it will be affected by how well you use your time. This is extreme but if your recording a song after talking and shouting all day plus you drank milk/dairy then you’d be doing it at a negative time.A way to measure if its a bad time to do something is when looking at the scenario how not helpful is it , if your about to sing but your voice is worn out plus unclear from diary how much that help you sing well = record well= song is executed well?very little.

  1. You Don’t Dare Enough

When you don’t care enough it can affect you to dare enough. To be challenged to perform an action especially as a proof of courage. dared him to jump. : to confront boldly : defy. dared to hit the subscribe button.

How will you put yourself in the uncomfortable situation which is needed to grow and succeed if you don’t dare to do it?It’s a bold thing to challenge yourself and not wait for a challenge to come to you.

I learned that when you do seek challenge , challenge doesn’t stay an enemy it becomes a tool and building block for your journey. Post that content , learn that skill , talk to that person , sing that song cause

  1. You Don’t Put Yourself Out There

When you don’t put yourself out there no one will see you. One thing I’ve learned is people WILL see you when you perform to be seen. Like moths to  a flame we are when someone shines so bright cause you can’t help but be intrigued by the energy.

When I see people on social media and even on the street it’s those who put themselves in front of people they get seen and especially those with energy.Sounds simple cause it is but me and others have a hard time doing it .Location does affect how many people will see you and in turn care.

  1. You Don’t Put Yourself In Good Places

Put yourself in a good place.Go to a good place , use popular social media , go to a populated park , join a discord /online community ,or heck try to land a gig.

Extreme example but you go to a random empty lot and sing your heart out or paint It’s least likely anyone will see or care cause barely anyone would even be around to notice.Search up and seek these populated places that people can see you in and it might feel uncomfortable but do it anyways ,get past the first stage and you’ll thank yourself later.Remember though,

  1. There’ll Be People Who Don’t Like it

There’ll always be some person who not even a hater won’t enjoy or take interest in what you do and that’s fine.We all have reasons for why we don’t’ like or like things and some reasons are better than others but don’t spend time convincing others to like your creation unless you have some reason but if anything feed the ones who already like it and others can come by word of mouth or others.

I want as many people as possible to like what I do and I feel you it sucks when someone doesn’t enjoy or care but accept it or you’ll be beating yourself over something not entirely in your control. When you’re successful more people care anyway so you’ll be fine.

Thank you for your time ,have a good day
