This song was inspired by the feelings & thoughts I had about an ex right before we separated. Filled with faith I believed we could prosper still if they went to me ,if we flew together to our dreams. It was made at that time too so imagine making this then breaking up ,talk about plot twist.

In this song Im asking them about what people said to them that has them doubting us ,I always thought of us as in our own world , everytime we met I wanted to be left alone ,with them , not letting anything get in the way ,no ones words impacting us I wanted to be clouded. They’d be clouded sometimes but in another way ,instead of our wonderland they’d fly to theirs and I felt sometimes I couldn’t join since who I was in their world might not be me ,remember this was my perspective. Looking back I think maybe we both were in our own wonderland both clouded by fantasy in some parts about each other or the relationship. Nonetheless we were great together ,sun & moon.

Life has been interesting lately ,all the conclusions I’ve come to , people I’ve met ,next week is my birthday and ill be celebrating it as a 22 year old ,so much has happened this year , new roommate/friend ,new place ,new city , heartbroken twice ,body evolution , growth , losses , wins , the new experiences , new car , goals ,there’s so much and I’m looking forward to what’s ahead , to whoever’s reading this , you’re stronger than you know please give yourself a chance at a great life , a chance to see it through ,I know it hurts trust me ,and while it hurts let’s continue to walk.

My friend made an album for us to share our photos and in the midst of adding them I discovered dang near all of me & a past lovers photos ,thinking I’ve rid them all ,it showed me how far I’ve come and as I delete the rest and say goodbye this song above is me expressing my goodbye to said person in general while also making mention of the concept of trying again & if I’d ever want to try that again & if this was a good bye or see you later.The past is the past , and I move forward ,I’m good now in fact , I’ve always been fine even when I cried, that’s how I knew I did love them ,I was able to let them go while wishing them the best.
